Trump Terminates US Relationship With WHO, Takes Action Against China

United States President Donald Trump has announced that America is terminating its relationship with World Health Organization (WHO) over its handling of the Corona virus.
Saying that China has total control over the World Health Organization, Trump accused the WHO of failing to hold Beijing to account over the coronavirus pandemic.
It may be mentioned that Trump last month announced that he was going to halt US funding for the WHO unless it undertook "substantive improvements" within 30 days.
As per the US President, they have failed to make the requested and greatly needed reforms. Following which President Trump announced for terminating its relationship with WHO forthwith and said that the funds will be redirected to other worldwide and deserving, urgent global public health needs.
However, the WHO is yet to comment on Trump's decision.
Moreover, Trump said the administration would begin eliminating the “full range” of agreements that had given Hong Kong a relationship with the U.S. that mainland China lacked, including on trade and extradition. He said the State Department would begin warning U.S. citizens of the threat of surveillance and arrest when visiting the city. The president also said the U.S. would be suspending entry of certain Chinese citizens, reports Indiatoday.
